The honchos of Nadigar Sangam gathered on Nadigar Sangam grounds to celebrate Deepavali with its the members today.
On the occasion, saree, veshti and sweets were distributed and crackers were burst. This is the first festive celebrations of the newly-elected members of the association.
A grand shamiyana was put up at the ground where the function took place and members thonged in large numbers.
Speaking on the occasion, president of the association, Nasser, said, ‘It is our Thala Deepavali and we wish the joy contyinues in years to come’.
We are preparing a data base of our members and ensure all welfare measures initiated by us reacxh them without any hassle’.
Secretary Vishal, Treasurer Karthi and Vice-President Ponvannan were also present on the occasion.
