The Madras High Court has ordered the Nadigar Sangam to hold elections in a couple of months. They ordered appointing a former Judge Padmanabhan to supervise the elections.
A petition was filed by actors Vishal, Nasser and a few others seeking for a delay in the Nadigar Sangam elections. When the case came up for hearing, they ordering staying elections and posted the case for further hearing today.
Yesterday after hearing the arguments of the petitioners and the Nadigar Sangam, it was ordered that elelections be held within two months.
To facilitate free and fair elections, they ordered appointing a retired Judge Padmanabhan.
