Music composer Ilaiyaraja was admitted to a private hospital on Saturday after he complained of slight pain in the abdomen.
He was rushed to Apollo hospitals. It looks like some gastric problem and tests are being conducted. He will be discharged soon.Sources at the hospital said he is stable.
Ilaiyaraja, has composed over 5,000 songs in his career spanning over three decades across multiple languages.
The National-award winning composer has produced some of the evergreen hits in southern cinema and also has memorable Hindi albums to his credit.
He is recovering fast and sources say that he would be discharged in a day of two.
