Heads of various unions of Tamil cinema have came together on a common platform for the cause of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s alleged assassins from the prison.
At a press meet in Chennai, the members of various bodies of Kollywood including including Nasser and Ponvannan (Nadigar Sangam) besides RK Selvamani and Vikraman (Directors Union) came together to announce that they would be taking out a rally after seeking Chief Minister’s approval for release of Nalini and Perararivalan.
They said it is sad these people have completed their term. But still reeling in the prison. It is time they be released.
The Center government should take efforts and conduct the State government and act swiftly, they added.
