The Tamil remake of Telugu hit, Pelli Choopulu now has a name.
The film will be henceforth called as Pon Ondru Kanden, after the yesteryear super-hit song from Sivaji Ganesan’s Padithal Mattum Podhuma.
The remake will be produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Ondraga Entertainment. It will be directed by Senthil Veerasamy producer of Rajathandhiram and villian of Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta.
The movie will feature Vishnu Vishal and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles.
Pelli Choopulu is a new age romantic comedy. It deals about the relationship between a carefree youngster and ambitious MBA graduate.The shoot is likely to commence by April.
However, sources say, the script has been modified to suit the Tamil audience.
