One of the much awaited movies this season is Kaatru Veliyidai, that is directed by Mani Ratnam.
The flick will hit the screens on 7 April. Kaatru Veliyidai will also be dubbed and released in Telugu.
Meanwhile, a synopsis of the flick is out. Sources say the movie will be in the line of Roja.
The official synopsis of Kaatru Veliyidai is: ‘A military pilot, being held as a prisoner of war, remembers his romance with a local doctor.’
Now it does strike a bell. This was revealed by the British Board of Film Certification (BBFC) where the film was censored recently.
The movie stars Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. Music is by A R Rahman. The film will have a runtime of 146 minutes (2 hours and 26 minutes).
Kaatru Veliyidai is produced by Madras Talkies banner. The movie would be released by Sri Thenandal Films.
