Rajesh’s signature style comedy with Arya and santhanam which is a mix and match of his earlier films is what Vassuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga (VSOP) is. The situational comedy laced with one-liners make up the movie. Rajesh has carefully mixed and matched the catchy ingredients from his earlier films to give them in a new shape here. The movie carries his pet theme. It is about a two friends and girl in their lives want them to end their frienship. Produced by Arya’s The Show People and interestingly it is his 25th film. The movie stars Arya, Tamannah, Santhanam and Bhanu in lead roles. Cinematography is by Nirav Shah and editing by Vivek Harshan. Saravanan (Arya) and Vasu (Santhanam) are friends. They have two girls Tamannah and Bhanu who want them to end their friendship. After great difficulty ARya wins Tamannah;s heart, Now does he do the sacrifice of letting his friend go or not. Renuka, Pattimanram Raja, Brinda Dass, Vidyulekha Raman, Siddarth Vipin, Shayaji Shinde, Swaminathan, Venniradai Murthy among others have acted in the movie. Actress Shakeela and actor Vishal appear in cameo. Though Arya and Santhanam tries to liven up the proceedings, the movie falls flat at many places, a sense of deja vu prevails at many scenes.
