There are rumours that a team led by veteran filmmaker Amul Palekar is on scrutinising the Indian entry for Oscar’s in the best foriegn film category.
Sources says that director Manikandan’s Kaaka Muttai is in the race. The movie swept many awards including National award for best regional film.
Sources say the movie faces a tough competition from the likes of Bahubali, Aamir Khan’s PK and Priyanka Chopra starrer Mary Kom.
Let’s hope Kaja Muttai makes it to the final cut.
