Actor Ajith who sustained injury in his leg while shooting for Vedalam has been adviced to undergo surgery and it will take place on 24 November at a private hospital in Chennai.
He will take rest for two months post surgery. Operations are not new to the actor, who underwent many in the past when took part in motor racing.
Meanwhile his Vedalam is getting released this Deepavali. Directed by Siurthi Siva, the movie has Shruthi Haasan as heroine.
The movie has music by Anirudh.
