Fans took to streets and celebrated the release of Vedalam. Huge banners, cut-outs and festoons decorated theatres. Pal abhishekam was also performed. Now they have ensured that king of opening gets more and thus the movie goes strong and steady at the BO.
Trade circles say that Vedalam has grossed Rs 25 to 30 crore in two days and it is the highest for any film in Tamil cinema.
