Though Kamal Haasan’s Thoongavanam may be making news in spite of rain for a good showing at the box office, his Uttama Villain has brought joy to his ardent film-lovers.
The movie managed to make right noise at the International Film Festival in Los Angeles. Directed by Ramesh Aravind and produced by N Lingusamy, the film won many awards and acclaims.
In Los Angeles, it was adjudged as Best Film while Kamal Haasan, Ghibran and Kunal Rajan have been honoured with Best Actor, Best Music Director and Best Sound Design awards respectively. Ghibran has also won the Best Music Director award for the film in Russian International Film Festival too.
