‘Pasanga 2 is a lesson for very parent. My idea about my children changed after I acted in the movie’, says Suriya.
The movie is produced by Suriya on behalf of his 2D Entertainments. Directed by Pandiraj, the movie stars a bunch of young boys and girls. Also in the cast includes Bindhu Madhavi in prominent roles.
I loved the script that Pandiraj narrated to me and I readily agreed to produce the same. We wanted to be the first from outr production house. But it could not materilise. We had to come out with 36 Vayadhinilae. Pasanga 2 will be an engaging and entertaining movie, says Suriya.
‘It is a serious subject dealt in an entertaining manner. The whole team including cinematographer Balasubramaniam and editor Praveen have given their best. The whole team of Pasanga 2 was a small unit, just about 20 people, unlike my commercial films.
It made me wonder then, whether I needed so many people to work on my films. In Pasanga it was about kids in the village whereas Pasanga 2 is about kids in the city and their lives.
Pandiraj has done a lot of research for the film. He has filed 2000 pages for the film and his writing will be the biggest strength of Pasanga 2’, says Suriya.
