Actor Kamal Haasan who was at the IIFA Utsavam was all praise for the event that is organised to honour south Indian talents.
He said at the inauguration, ‘The actor who in the past was stressing that Indian cinema is not just Bollywood, said, ‘Unity in diversity is the hallmark of the country’.
Of the films made in indian cinema every uyear, a total of over 60 per cent are from south.It is time that they be recognised. Also the actor said, ‘It’s time that India show respect and understand other languagues. We without knowning the language are showing respect and singing National Anthem.
Meanwhile Anirudh, said, ‘a lot has been said about me since Kola Veri days. But I was quiet. Today I want to speak out’.
He said, ‘I love what I do. That has got me 11 films in 4 years. There ie no gain without pain’.
