The personal phones of actress Trisha and Hansika have been hacked and the data within have been wiped clean.
This is not the first time an actor or actress have been victims of cyber bulling.
Recently, actress Shruti Haasan has lodged a petition with the Cyber Crime branch of city police alleging harassment by a Karnataka-based doctor, KG Guruprasad, who has threatened to kill her.
The stalker has been sending Shruti abusive and derogatory messages on Twitter since September 2016. Another incident is of Superstar Rajinikanth. The actor’s twitter account was hacked and the number of followers were increased.
But in the case of Trisha and Hansika the hackers have done one step ahead and wipped out all the contents in their phones.
Says Trisha in Twitter, “My tweeps n friends who know my number, pls whatsapp yours and your name to me coz a certain jobless coward hacked n wiped my phone clean.(sic)’
She also took it out on the hacker when she said, ‘You are best dealt with by cybercrime officials and karma . N amused to know I matter this much…(sic)’.
Hansika, also took to twitter to express her angush, she said, ‘And the same has happened to me !!! Grr. Guys please revert with your name at the end of your text .(sic)’
