On taking to acting, he says, Since my childhood, music was my passion., I sang jingles for Rahman. Then scored music for commercials. I made my debut as music composer with Veyyil. I have completed 50 films as music composer.
Vijay-Atlee’s untitled film is my 50th. Few years ago, it was filmmaker A R Murugadoss who suggested me to act in a movie. I was initially hesitant. But people around me convinced me.
Pencil was my first. But Darling got released before that. A horror thriller, it became a huge hit.’
