A blockbuster Malayalam movie Miss Lekha Tharoor Kaanunnathu is being dubbed in Tamil as Kangal Irandaal.
Meera Jasmine, who is on a long post-marriage sabbatical, plays the titular role in this film directed by Shajiyem.
Meera essays Lekha Tharoor, a visually-challenged girl who hosts a television reality show. She abruptly starts experiencing disturbing and violent visions and sounds around her.
It was a very challenging role and the director had said in an earlier interview that he wrote the script keeping Meera in mind.
‘A thriller with fantasy elements, and proper emphasis given to romance and friendship,’ the director says.
