Raju Murugan’s Joker is complete and the film has been censored. It has received a U certificate.
After the success of his movie Cuckoo, journalist-turned-filmmaker Raju Murugan started working on his second project.
Said to be a political satire, it features Somasundaram of Jigarthanda fame. Sean Roldon is scoring the music.
SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu of Dream Warrior Pictures are producing the movie.
Says Raju Murugan, ‘Joker is a film about the ills of globalisation. ‘Nobody talks about poverty any more, maybe because everybody now has a smartphone. But do all of them have access to toilets?’.
