Actor-producer-poet-singer Dhanush has a new avatar now. The National award winner has now turned a director will the movie titled Power Pandi.
Rajkiran will be playing the lead, while Prasanna and Chaya Singh will be seen in supporting roles. The movie went to floors with a simple pooja today in Chennai.
Power Paandi will be bankrolled by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. Music will be by Sean Roldon and camera will be by Velraj.
It may be recalled that Dhanush’s dad Kasthuri Raja made his directorial debut with Rajkiran in the movie En Rasavin Manasula.
Dhanush’s brother Selvaraghavan says, ‘Its a very big day 4 our family as @dhanushkraja turns film maker. Superb script i wish d crew a big success.#DD1.’
Dhanush replied, saying, ‘Thank you selva. You started it all with your teachings and blessings.’
