On April 24th, Zee Tamil brings a double dhamaka to its viewers by launching Poove Poochoodava and Yaaru Di Nee Mohini, airing from Monday to Friday.
Poove Poochoodava is a breezy tale of how romance brews between two of the most unlikely people. Hard-working Shakthi is from a lower middle class family and the daughter of a bus conductor. Her mother runs a catering business and she helps with deliveries.
One day she meets with a minor accident with Shiva’s car. This encounter turns into hate at first sight. Shiva’s life is a contrast to hers, born with a silver spoon, he has just returned from completing his studies abroad. Shiva not only distrusts women but also hates them. How the duo fall in love and get married is the story line.
Reshma, one of the Dance Jodi Dance contestants dons the role of Shakthi with aplomb while Shiva is played by Dinesh who paired with Rachitha on Mr & Mrs Khilladi.
Yaaru Di Nee Mohini is going to be a horror thriller with a big difference. The cast features popular artistes which is a big advantage to the series. The protagonist Sanjeev is a well-known television star and so is the antagonist Fathima Babu. She was a newsreader and is a versatile actress who has acted with many stars. Pretty Natchithra makes her debut as the female protagonist.
Mutharasan is the grandson of a rich landlord. He loses his mother and his father remarries Neelambari. He does not know that Neelambari has murdered his mother Chithra, and in fact respects and trusts her. After Mutharasan’s father dies, Neelambari secretly plots against him to acquire his father’s property for her children. However, a clause in the will forbids her, as it says Mutharasan’s wife must sign. Meanwhile Chitra’s ghost is now out to spoil her evil designs.
