Acclaimed painter and a good friend of actor Kamal Haasan AP Sreethar, has come up with a company calling Sketch Book that will produce and release a movie by students themselves.
Titled ‘Maiem’, the movie has students taking all major responsibilities.
Says Sreethar, ‘It is a commercial entertainer and is about safety on individuals in ATM centres. We did enough reserach and ensured all comes out well’.
These days students are first critics for a movie and hence I ensured that they do a movie themselves, he says.
A major portion of the film was shot in a huge set in Binny Mills.
