Actor Ashwin Kakamannu is a name to reckon in Tamil cinema. He has three films up his sleeve.
He acts in director Siva’s untitled film starring Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon. Besides he has Thiri. It is directed by Ashok Amritraj and the film highlights a father-son relationship.
Ashwin is also acting in Thollaikatchi, directed by Sadiq Khan. Chandini Sreedharan is cast opposite him.
‘Thollaikkatchi, which is yet to start full-time shoot, is a romantic comedy film with a social message. The screenplay is quite satirical in places,’ Ashwin says.
