With Nadigar Sangam polls round the corner, a team led by Vishal, comprising actors Nasser, Karthi, Ponvannan and Karunaas has taken to campaign.
The team called on actor Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.Sources close to Vishal said that they have already spoken to Ajith over the phone on the issue.
Says Nasser, ‘There is no politics behind these meetings. We want the senior actors to come and cast their votes on poll day. We have neither sought their support nor urged them to vote for or against any candidate’.
Stating that the meetings went very cordial, he said, ‘They listened to whatever we spoke. We briefed them on the latest developments within the sangam’.
Actor Vishal and Sarath Kumar have been at loggerheads over the sangam activities for the last few months.
