Ever since the title Kabali was announced for Rajinikanth’s forthcoming film, to be directed by Pa Ranjith, there has been a mixed response from Rajinikanth fans.
While a section is happy another says it is an average title. Though it is about an ageing don, they could have opted for another title. It sounds too local, say few fans of Superstar.
But many feel it is catchy and off-repeated name in cinema and hence wold go down well with masses.
The movie produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu stars Radhika Apte, Dinesh, Prakashraj and Kalaiarasan in key roles.
Music is by Santosh Narayanan. It will go on floor 18 September.
