A grand muhurrat was held in Chennai in which the Tamil remake of Hindi blockbuster Jolly LLB went on floors. The movie produced by Udhayanidhi stars himself in the lead.
Hansika plays the heroine. The two come together after OKOK.
Interestingly, director Ahmed has roped in the likes of Prakashraj, Nasser, Vivek in key roles. The details of the rest of the cast and crew of the movie would be announced shortly.
Jolly LLB is a courtroom comedy drama film, written and directed by Subhash Kapoor.
The film revolves around the early life of Lawyer Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly and focuses on his attempt to earn 6 innocent wage earners their rights and his journey against the monopolistic behavior of the rich and judicial corruption.
The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
