Veteran actress Manorama’s last wish was that she be cremated not in electric crematorium. Fulfilling her wish, her family members chose to have a normal pyre at Myalpore Crematoirum last evening.
a grand procession was carried out from her residence in T Nagar to Mylapore in which who’s of Tamil cinema and fans gatheredin large numbers and gave a tearful farewell to the actress.
The procession was attended by thousdands of fans, who mourned her death.
The legendary actress breathed her last on Sunday early morning and film personalities, politicians and fans thronged her house to pay their last respects.
