Members of Pandavar Ani led by Vishal, Nasser, Karthi and Ponvannan called in Additional Commissioner of Police today and submitted a petition seeking adequate security, including CCTV surveillance at the election venue.
The elections would be held at St Ebbas School in Mylapore and would be monitored by retired High Court Judge Padmanabhan.
It is a direct contest between Team Vishal and Team Sarath Kumar in the elections.
