Mozart of Madras A R Rahman has released a single online that he says is his tribute to those who were killed in 26/11 attacks.
The Oscar and Grammy winner has come out with a prayer (a remix version of Humko Manki Shakthi from Hindi film Guddi) which he says is, ‘dedicated to the victims of hate’.
‘Humanity was tried, tested and annihilated after the attack. This song is dedicated to all the victims of hate. Hope you join me in this prayer’.
The single was released in youtube late last night. It was originally sung by Vani Jairam set to tunes by Vasant Desai and written by Gulzar.
