After Minister O Pannerselvam’s statement condemning Kamal Haasan for his alleged remarks on flood relief works in Chennai and about the tax money, actor Kamnal Haasan has come forward with his explanation.
The Thoongavanam star said, ‘Unfortunately my email to a journalist in North India has been misintrepreted.’
I wrote about the common man’s view on Chennai floods to my friend -cum-journalist in email. It got translated in Tamil where my ideas were misintrepreted’.
‘I never made any mention of controversial ideas and I even urge my fans to work with government agencies in relief works. I even see apology of my words has hurt anyone at this moment’, Kamal said.
