Geetanjali Selvaraghavan’s Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam will be out 1 January. The movie is penned by Selvaraghavan and it is maiden directorial venture of his wife Geetanjali.
Says Selvaraghavan, ‘The theme of the movie is very sensitive and bold. We never considered Geetanjali to direct the movie and I was looking out for a director who could handle this daring script. But she came into the picture and was keen to wield the megaphone. She was very confident. Usually, it is very difficult to handle my scripts’.
