Nalan Kumarasamy’s Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum is all set for release on 12 February. The movie stars Vijay sethupathi and Madonna of Premam fame in the lead.
Nalan says that he is under no pressure as the Valentine’s Day weekend will see a tough competition in the form of biggies like Jayam Ravi’s Miruthan and Siddharth’s Jil Jung Juck too releasing, is confident of a good show. We hope we will live up to audience expectations’.
‘The young filmmakers today are talented. With exposure to technology and their brief stint under a filmmaker, I am happy that they are trying various genres though short films’, Nalan says and adds, ‘It gives one a hands-on experience before they set out to do a movie’.
‘I have not planned my next. All attention is now on Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum. For me quality matters than quantity’, winds up the director.
