It was a grand launch of Kanithan’s audio. Who’s who of Tamil cinema including A R Rahman, A R Murugadoss besides Carnatic musicians Vikku Vinayakaram, Karaikudi Mani among others took part.
The movie starring Atharvaa and Catherine Teresa has music by drummer Sivamani. It is directed by Santosh.
Rahman, said, ‘Kanithan has songs in various genres and rhythm pattern of Shivamani is nice to hear to’.
Murugadoss released the first copy of the album. He said. ‘Atharvaa is a sensible actor, who picks his scripts well. He is a hard working and dedicated.’
The likes of filmmakers Atlee, S A Chandrasekharan, Shivamani’s mentors Vikku Vinayakaram, S P Balasubramaniam among others were present on the occasion.
