The shoot for Vetrimaran’s Vada Chennai part 1 began today in the city. The movie which was expected to go on floors next year has taken into production.
The movie will be produced in 2 parts.
Starring Dhanush and Samantha in the lead, it is said to be the dream project of Vetrimaaran. Sources say that the actor Dhanush who has completed his commitment has allotted dates for Vetrimaran.
Vada Chennai is about the story of the underworld network in North Chennai spanning across three to four decades. Samantha will play a North Chennai girl in the movie.
Andrea Jeremiah is also part of the cast while Santhosh Narayanan will handle the music.
