Kavalai Vendam is back in the making. The shoot for the movie which stalled four months back begun in Kotagiri yesterday.
Said to be an upcoming comedy film, it is directed by Deekay. It stars Jiiva, Bobby Simha and Kajal Aggarwal in the leading roles.
The team is now shooting some song sequence with the lead pair. Once they are done, the crew is expected to be back in Chennai for shot the other portions of the movie.
Sources from the film’s unit say, ‘The initial shooting schedule with the lead cast was in January in Kotagiri. We also shot for a couple of weeks. Then, in between, we had put the shoot on hold due to elections.
Also, as it is a multi-starrer, it took time to bring all the actors back together under one roof.
Now, everybody’s dates have been finalised, and we will be shooting with Jiiva, Kajal, Bobby and Sunainaa for a week in Kotagiri, and then will continue filming in Chennai.
The cast of the film is having a whale of a time post pack-up each day… we team up and cook different recipes together, and eat, and chill out.’
The movie is produced by Elred Kumar and has music by Leon James.
