Apparently impressed watching Kabali at a special preview in USA, Rajinikanth was in all smiles.
He heaped laurels on Ranjith and even called him over phone and appreciated him for the work.
Ranjith tweeted, ‘Magizhchi!! superstar send neriya kisses (Happy! Superstar sent a lot of kisses)’, posted the director on his Twitter page.
The movie features Rajini in the role of an ageing don and Radhika Apte plays heroine.
Music is by Santosh Narayanan. Produced by Thanu, Kabali will be out in several thousand screens.
