Actor Madhavan has started shooting for his upcoming Tamil movie Vikram Vedha. He is playing an encounter specialist in it and has undergone a special training for it.

The movie is to be directed by Pushkar-Gayathri duo, who earlier made Oram Po. Y Not Studios Shashikanth is producing the film.
Vijay Sethupathi plays a key role in while, actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Shraddha Srinath will be playing the female leads.
Varalakshmi will be paired opposite Madhavan.
