It is not new for composers in Kollywood to sing for other music directors.
This time Anirudh has lent his voice to musician Thaman for the latter’s upcoming movie Shivalinga.
The movie stars Raghava Lawrence and is expected to hit the screens this Pongal.
Directed by P Vasu, the movie is in the final stages of making. Recently, the crew shot the opening song with Raghava Lawrence and his physically challenged students.
Rithika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame in the female lead. Ace comedian Vadivelu will be doing a key role in the movie.
The cast also includes Vasu’s son Sakthi P Vasu. Trident Arts Raveendran, who produced Sasikumar starer Vettrivel is bankrolling the project.
Shivalinga is a remake of Kannada hit movie of the same name.
