Actor and Nadigar Sangam general secretary Vishal who was temporarily suspended from the Tamil Film Producers’ Council has issued an apology for his recent remarks against the council.
The actor submitted a written copy of his apologised to Madras High Court this morning.
It may be recalled that Vishal’s statements against Producers Council to a Tamil weekly, had led to him being temporarily suspended from Council. A petition was filed by him challenging the decision.
Meanwhile the advocates for Producers Council informed the Madras High Court that it was willing to revoke its suspension if the actor apologised for his statement.
The bench after seeing the apology note adjourned the case to Thursday.
