First it was Amala Paul, then Bollywood actress Kajol joined the crew of Velai Illa Pattadhari 2, that is being directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth.
Now the news is that a third heroine has been roped in to play a crucial role in the movie.
Monal Gajjar of Vanavarayan Vallavarayan and Sigaram Thodu fame has been roped in to play a role in the movie. Sources say it will be in the lines of the one Surabhi played in the first part.
The movie is produced by ‘Kalaipuli’ S Thanu and co-produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films.
Dhanush is doing the story and dialogues. Amala Paul will be reprising her character from the first part.
Meanwhile, Samuthirakani, Saranya Ponvannan, Vivek and Hrishikesh from the original are also part of the cast. Music is by Sean Roldan.
