Vetrimaaran is soon to start the second schedule of his upcoming movie Vada Chennai in March. The director completed filming the 70s portion in the movie earlier.
The flick is set in three periods. A triology, the movie is a gangster story that is set between 1977 – 2017.
The movie stars Dhanush in the lead. Actors Kishore and Daniel Balaji play important roles. Vijay Sethupathi is playing an extended cameo while Amala Paul is doing the female lead.
The second schedule will begin once Dhanush completes his current projects namely, VIP 2 and ENPT.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is also directing his first movie Power Paandi.
