Karthi who recently completed the shoot for Mani Ratnam’s flick Kaatru Veliyidai, is all set to begin his next. Titled Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, it has Karthi play a cop.
It will be directed by Vinod of Sathuranga Vettai fame. An action thriller, Karthi is said to be playing an investigative cop Dheeran.
Sources say Karthi will undergoe a special training to get the police look right.
Rakul Preet Singh has been signed to play the female lead. Music will be by Ghibran.
The flick is to be produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures.
