In view of the ongoing Jallikattu protest, all shooting and cinema events in Kollywood has been cancelled.
Apart from that Nadigar Sangam has officially announces a 1-day fast on Friday 20 January to express solidarity with students and others who are fighting for Jallikattu.
It has been said that Ajith Kumar, who normally does not participate in events, will be joining hands with his fellow actors to support youngsters’ protest against Jallikattu ban.
On the other hand, the news that actors will be fasting for this Jallikattu ban has not gone well with the protesters. They have have created a hash tag ‘#SayNoToNadigarSangam’, to express their dissatisfaction.
The actors organise a separate protest in Nadigar Sangam grounds, it will digress the media attention and they only want stars to join them at Marina beach, is what students allege.
