Several yesteryear movies are being digitised and re-released in theatres. The latest to join it is Vetri Vizha starring Kamal Haasan and Prabhu in lead roles.
The movie was bankrolled by Sivaji Productions. The movie was released in 1989 and after nearly three decades the movie is being digitally remastered and re-released.
It may be recalled that last week Rajinikanth’s yesteryear hit Baasha was digitially remastered in 5.1 audio. Previously, Sivaji Ganesan’s Karnan, Veerapandiya Kattabomman and Paasa Malar were released in the same manner.
Vetri Vizha was directed by Prathap Pothen. It has Amala, Kushboo, Sasikala and Salim Ghouse in supporting roles.
