‘Non-violence will help us win,’ says Kamal Haasan. The actor who expressed his support for youngsters who are protesting for jallikattu, has urged them to keep nonviolence intact.
In a series of tweets the actor wrote, ‘The world is watching us. Tamils are making India proud. Keep your tenacity of purpose. We have become women and men of the moment.’
‘The manifesto for civil disobedience movement was drafted in Madras1930 Again it is successfully enacted in Tamilnadu 2017. This movement is of the people. I still feel celebrities should only support and not steal the show,’ he tweeted.
Kamal has also praised the youngsters who are making the politicians act, he says, ‘These boys and girls are braving all odds to fight for our rights. They are our real heroes. No one has the right to stop their peaceful protests.’
Stating that students are his teachers he added, ‘I watch news just to watch my people gathered all around TN. Moved 2 tears. Thanks. Youre no more students you are now teachers. I am a fan’.
Actor Kamal Haasan is known for being vocal on issues that he firmly believes in.
