Although the makers are expecting a U certificate, they are keeping their fingers crossed.
The movie is set to hit the screens on 6 May. It is directed by Vikram Kumar and is produced by Suriya and K E Gnanavelraja under their banners 2D Entertainment and Studio Green respectively.
The movie a sci-fi, has Suriya playing a triple role. The trailer of the movie that was recently released has received good response.
Once its release, sources say 24 might be remade in Hindi with Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan in the lead.
