Composer Yuvanshankar Raja has now take a new avatar, that of a producer.
His production house will be YSR films and the first venture will be Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, that has Nayanthra playing the lead.
The composer announced this news on his twitter handle. He said, ‘Exited to launch @YSRfilms Collaborating w/ @chakritoleti & @poojafilms to execute our 1st film #KolaiyuthirKaalam staring #Nayanthara.’
The first look of the movie was out yesterday. The black and white poster shows an angry Nayanthara with a bloodied and soiled hand covering her mouth.
It is to be directed by Chakri Toleti and will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Kolaiyuthir Kaalam will mark producer Vashu Bhagnani’s entry into Tamil cinema. The movie is expected to be shot entirely in UK.
