After several hiccups, Pokkiri Raja, that hit the screens this week has ended up being a promising entertainer. Starring Jiiva, Sibiraj and Hansika Motwani in the lead the movie has been directed by Ramprakash Rayappa. It has been jointly produced by PT Selvakumar and TS Ponselvi, has D Imman’s music, Anji’s cinematography and VJ Sabu Joseph’s editing. The cast includes Manobala, Ramdoss, Yogi Babu among others. The story revolves around Sanjeevi (Jiiva), an IT worker. He has the habbit of yawning that gets him into trouble most of the time. Sunitha (Hansika Motwani), plays his lady love. She also works in IT and campaigns against urinating in public. Sanjeevi loses Sunitha due to his yawning disorder and gets into a fight with baddie Guna (Sibiraj). Meanwhile, Sanjeevi discovers that he has an super-human power and uses it to finish off his enemy and success in in his love. Although sounds childish the movie seems to be a complete family entertainer. It has been laced with comedy and action that rocks the screen. Imman’s music is pretty impressive. The BGM for the baddie has really portrayed evilness. The Jiiva and Hansika combination looks good on screen. Sibiraj carrys the coolling glass Guna character in a cool manner. A novel core plot with a not-so-steady turn of events, Pokkiri Raja seems to have carried off an average show.
