Recent events in his life turns him a pauper and he turns poor due to circumstances. The movie is packaged with commercial entertainer that seems to be working well with the audience. Vijay Antony who dons the role of a beggar has passed off for one. In the hands of director Sasi, Vijay’s character has been shaped and executed well. With Pichaikkaran, Sasi has taken a giant leap as a commercial director. Production by Vijay Antony Film Corporation and music by Vijay Antony himself the movie is loaded with action and sentiments. Vijay Antony apart from trying his hand at acting has managed to do extreme stunt sequences that is breath taking. Satna Titus does not seems to be a debutant in her role. The actress has emoted her role well and is definately the director’s actor. Cinematographer by Prasanna Kumar is realistic. Editing by Veera Senthil Raj is crisp and to the mark. Costumes seems to be a catch in the movie. All credits go to Sarangapani for this. In short, Pichaikkaran rides on action, sentiments and emotions.
