Actor Chiranjeevi was in Chennai to pay respects to music composer DSP’s father who passed away yesterday.
Mortal remains of veteran Telugu scriptwriter Satyamurthi, father of music composer Devi Sri Prasad, were cremated in Chennai.
Many prominent film personalities, including Chiranjeevi, offered their last tributes to the departed soul.
A successful writer, Satyamurthi worked for 90 movies starting his career with Devatha. His other prominent movies include Khaidi No. 786, Chanti, Abhilaasha, Bhale Donga and Challenge.
Sathyamurthi is survived by two sons Devi Sri Prasad and Sagar the younger and a daughter.
