The Madras High Court today granted permission to actor Simbu to appear before Chennai and Coimbatore police before 29 January over the Beep song row.
A petition was filed by the actor in the Madras High Court today seeking more time for him to appear before the police after summons were issued to him over teh Beep Song issue.
After hearing the petition, the Court granted him permission to actor Simbu to appear before Chennai and Coimbatore police before 29 January.
The song was uploaded on YouTube a few weeks ago and it went viral. Cases were filed against Simbu for singing the number and music composer Anirudh for setting tunes for the same.
However, Anirudh denied any involvement in it.
Summons were also served by police from Coimbatore and Chennai police asking the two to appear before them.
