3D interactive Click Art museum opens in city

Experience 3D in an all new creative way at the ‘Trick art’ in the Click Art Museum, opened its doors on Monday at the VGP Snow Kingdom in the city.

Conceptualised and created by renowned artist A P Sreethar, the 2000 square feet facility was inaugurated by actor R Parthiepan and is India’s first 3D interactive museum.

Pictures of optical illusions teleport you into another world, where you are probably a queen of England or a guest of Atlas. It does not require exceptional acting or directing skills as the staff members give a tutorial regarding how to position yourself or your camera, for the maximum effect of illusions.

According to A P Sreethar, ‘Art does not interest everyone. Out of 100 people, only two or three of them get connected to the form,. I want everyone to admire and enjoy it. This can only happen through innovations like ‘Trick art’, where the painting invites participatory actions from a visitor’, he said.

‘This museum is not like other exhibitions where you cannot touch the exhibits. Here, you can get your pictures clicked, touch the exhibits and bring out the actor or director in you’, added Sreethar.

The museum is housed at VGP Snow Kingdom, Injambakkam, and is priced at Rs 150 for adults and Rs 100 for children.
